Beginner Paint Pouring Art Class - $85
The Arts Centre, Christchurch and Left Bank Art Gallery, Greymouth
Have you ever heard of Paint Pouring? It’s basically creating art by pouring paint onto a canvas. However, it is not that simple! In this class I will show you how to create your own paint pouring medium you add to the paint in order for it to flow the way it should when you create a paint pour artwork.
There are also different ways in which you can pour the paint. Each way creates a different effect. This is a 2.5 hour art class.
A demonstration will be given showing a few different techniques that you can apply to your canvas for different effects. You will receive your own canvas and materials you need to create your mixture ready to pour. This class will get messy so wear old clothes and bring disposable gloves if you prefer to work that way. It’s a great way to meet new friends with a common interest.
Materials: everything is supplied, however, if you would prefer to bring gloves and an apron feel free to do that.
This is perfect for beginners who don’t know how to paint. Anyone can do it at any age Adults and children are welcome in this art class.
It’s a messy process but in the end you will walk away with a beautiful, colorful painting you created in class ready to hang on your wall once back home. You will also know how to mix your own pouring medium and will reduce costs greatly.
It is a fun way to explore your creative side and to meet new people so why not give it a go!
The class which includes tuition and all art materials costs only $85. Seats are limited so payment in advance is required to secure your seat on the day.

Every Bob Ross class will paint a different painting each time.
Help me Bob Ross! - $55
Left Bank Art Gallery Greymouth
Learn how to paint along with the iconic Bob Ross. In this art class you will be shown a 27 minute video where Bob shows you various techniques on how to paint a landscape painting. The video will start and stop as each technique is shown and Annie will demonstrate and show you how to achieve it in class if you need that extra bit of help. Once each technique is finished by the students in class we go onto play the video again to complete the next step and so forth.
At the end of the art class you will have a painting to go home with and the skills learned in class on how to create a landscape using acrylic paints onto canvas.
Its a fun way to learn how to paint and I’m sure you will be proud of the painting you create. It’s a great way to meet new friends with a common interest too!
As this class is intended for beginners and artists at any level. Annie is so sure that regardless of the skills you have you will be able to achieve a Bob Ross painting, this in class, to take home with you on the day.
All materials are supplied in class. The class costs $55.

3 Week Workshop
Acrylic Painting Class (3 Week Workshop) - $250
In this 3 week acrylic painting workshop you will learn basic art techniques like blending, color theory, line art, layering, what we use each brush for and all about the different mediums we use.
You can choose the painting you would like to create on the day. I suggest something that is challenging, however not unmanageable. Print out your preferred image and bring it along to class. Annie will show you how to start and complete your painting based on the image you bring along.
At the end of the 3 weeks you will take home your creation.
Starts Saturday 5th September from 1pm til 3pm and continues every Saturday at the same time until 19th September.
Location will be confirmed in Runanga Greymouth, West Coast once booked.
Cost is $250 for the full 3 weeks which also includes all art materials.
